Anthony Beleafonte "E-Eye" Smith

On August 10, 1968, Anthony Beleafonte Smith was born in Bainbridge, Georgia, to the late Arthur and Mary Lou Smith.  He accepted CHRIST as his SAVIOR at an early age and faithfully attended Antioch Missionary Baptist Church until his health began to fail him.

Anthony attended Bainbridge High School and was a member of the Alpha Phi Psi High School Fraternity.  He was an avid Florida Gators and San Francisco 49ers fan and enjoyed watching sports with family and friends.  Well known throughout the community, he will be greatly missed.

Anthony departed his earthly life on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, Georgia.  He was preceded in death by his parents: Arthur and Mary Lou Smith; one sister, Emma Smith; four brothers: Willie Smith Sr., Van Smith, Robert Dismuke, and Melvin Smith; and a godson, Brian “Cool B” Sanders.

Anthony, affectionately known as, “E-Eye”, leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Bria Smith of Union City, GA; one son, Joshua Smith of Bainbridge, GA; two brothers, Harold Smith (Elaine) and Victor Smith, both of Bainbridge, GA; a sister-in-law, Isabella Smith of Keysville, GA; nieces:  Tia (Ferris III), Vernice, Lania, Autumn, and Teagan; nephews: Tony, Harold Jr., Willie Jr., Rickey (LeMetra), Dreon, Alex, Joshua, Ferris IV, Christian, and Emory; and a host of other relatives and friends.
