Chester Brown, Sr.

Chester Brown Sr. was born to the late Moses Brown and Mamie Barber on September 16, 1922 in Decatur County, Georgia. He was added to the body of CHRIST at an early age and remained until his demise on July 18, 2014. ��Mr. Brown was the last survivor of his family lineage. He attended Decatur County Schools and successfully graduated Hutto High School. Chester enlisted in the United States Air Force Special Services in December of 1942, receiving an Honorable Discharge in September of 1945. ��He was united in marriage to the late Annie Grace Smith, and to this union were born three children: Clarke Bernard, who preceded him in death; Chester Jr. of Detroit, Michigan; and Carol of Farmington Hills, Michigan. His second marital union was to the late Letha Dixon, and to their union were born two children, Michael Anthony, who preceded him in death, and Sharon of Cross City, Florida. Chester Brown then was united in marriage on July 25, 1961 to Ruth Burke, and to this union were born two children, Cherrylon Maria of Somerset, New Jersey and Candace Regina of Bainbridge, Georgia. ��Mr. Brown leaves five children to carry on his legacy, as well as, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren to cherish his memory.
