Brother Dwight Eric Haire was born to the late Sarah P. Haire and the late Ivory Lee Haire on September 4, 1970, in Bainbridge, Georgia. “D. D.”, as he was affectionately called, accepted CHRIST at an early age and joined Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend S. E. Ealey. There Dwight served on the Usher Board and Male Chorus under the leadership of the late Reverend Adolph Noble Sr.
Dwight attended the public schools of Decatur County, graduating Bainbridge High School in the Class of 1989. He then enlisted in the United States Army, serving until April of 1991, when he was honorably discharged.
GOD saw fit to call Dwight from Labor to Eternal Rest on October 17, 2022. He will be truly missed by those who knew him.
Dwight was preceded in death by several siblings. Those on his father’s side were Juanita, Rutha Mae, Forace, Horace, Annie Doris, Lindsey, Gladys, Lorenzo, and Ivory Lee; and those on his mother’s side were Sandra, Charles, and Beverly.
