Ester Perkins

MRS. ESTER LEE WILLIAMS PERKINS was born October 8, 1931 in Colquitt, Georgia to the Late Mrs. Ruby Davis Perkins and the Late Sylvester Williams. On January 23, 2015, she left us to be with our LORD AND SAVIOR after a lengthy illness. Ester Lee was married to the Late Finson Perkins. To this union were born eight children; five of whom preceded her in death. She was a member of Saint John First Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Myers, Florida under the pastorate of Reverend Leon Williams. She leaves to cherish her loving and precious memories two daughters, Mrs. Marsha Russell and Mrs. Alice Rogers (Jessie), both of Bainbridge, GA; one son, Mr. Caron Perkins (Clara) of Ft. Myers, FL; twenty-one grands; twenty-eight great grands; two great-great grands; three sisters: Ms. Mildred Perkins, Mrs. Videll Burke (Joseph), both of Bainbridge, GA, and Ms. Clora Mae Perkins Harrell of Cairo, GA; one brother, Mr. Melton Perkins (Mozelle) of St. Petersburg, FL; sisters-in-law: Mrs. Victoria Evans, Mrs. Josie B. Potter, both of Ft. Myers, FL, Mrs. Bertha Mae Williams of Colquitt, GA, and Dorothy Jenna Williams of Houston, TX; special relatives who were close to her heart: Cousin Mrs. Louise Benton Gilmore of Waco, TX, Nieces Mrs. Vivian Hawkins of Ft. Myers, FL, Mrs. Betty Sue Dukes of Sanford, FL, and Mrs. Dorothy Grant of Colquitt, Georgia, and Nephew Mr. Joe Harrell of Bainbridge, GA and Maurice Williams of Houston, TX; and a host of other relatives and friends.
