Evelyn Bell White was born on August 22,1943, in Donalsonville, Georgia. She was the eldest daughter born to Capus and Maple Jackson Bell. Evelyn gave her life to CHRIST at an early age and was an active member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church for many years. She graduated from Seminole County Training School in 1961.
She worked for the Seminole County School System, Smiling Faces, Inc. and Donalsonville Hospital prior to her retirement. Evelyn cultivated loving relationships with her many co-workers and children, as well as the entire community.
Evelyn loved spending time with family and friends, attending church, cooking, gardening and traveling. She was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who was always there when she was needed the most, offering support, wisdom and love in abundance. She made an impact on everyone with whom she came in contact.
Evelyn White departed this earthly life on July 23, 2024. She was truly a gift to all those who had the pure joy of knowing her. As the saying goes, “We wanted her with us, but GOD wanted her more”. Our lives are not our own; our lives were bought with a price, and JESUS paid it all.
She leaves precious memories to be cherished by her spouse, Roy White; children: Edward Ash (Joanne), Sonja White, and Briana Braxton; grandchildren: Danielle, Kevon, Keshon, Kelin and Jaxon; twin brother, Eddie Bell Sr. (Lillie); sisters, Juliette Sneed (Robert) and Betty Jean Ebong; as well as a host of family and friends. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; son Tommie Seay (Kamicia), and siblings Samuel Bell (Ruth), Julia White (Mason) and Jerry Bell.
