Everlee Hention

Everlee Register Hention was born July 5, 1936, in Dothan, Alabama, to the late Mr. Frank and Mrs. Henrietta Register.  She accepted CHRIST as her SAVIOR at an early age and attended Holy Neck Missionary Baptist Church in Donalsonville, Georgia.  She was married to the late Atlas Hention.  Everlee had a love for cooking and fishing.

Mother Hention took her last earthly breath on Friday, December 22, 2023, at her home in Donalsonville, Georgia.  “Big Mama”, as she was affectionately known, will be missed by her loved ones.  She was also preceded in death by her son Joseph “Buddy Colt” Register; her great grandson LeAlan Glenn; and her siblings Pearlie Barber, Ruby Barber, Jeanette Brown, Willie Frank Register, Moses Register, Danley Register, Ezekiel Register, Elijah Dawsey and L. B. Register.

She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Annie Jewel Register; three granddaughters: Beverly Glenn (Henry), Patricia Rich, and Katrina Reid (Jay); two special young ladies whom she helped raise, Lyriq Handford and Princess Rainy; a loving sister, Patricia Ann Barber (Johnny C.) of Donalsonville, GA; three sisters-in-law:  Brenda Register of Donalsonville, Betty Register of Columbus, GA, and Betty Lou Register of Tampa, FL; two brothers-in-law, Leroy Barber and Thomas Barber Jr., both of Donalsonville; and a host of great grands, nieces, nephews and friends.
