-- A Time to Be Born and Educated -- SISTER JERI LENA WASHINGTON was born on August 6, 1952 in Bainbridge, Georgia to the late Johnny Washington and Lucy Pearl Washington. She attended public school in Decatur County, Georgia. -- A Time to Love -- Because she was a caring woman, she will be truly missed by her loving nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. -- A Time to Mourn -- Jerri departed this life on January 23, 2015 at St. Mary Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida. She leaves to cherish her memories three children: Lucy Bianca Washington of Bainbridge, Georgia, Rodney Washington of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Adopted Daughter Jackie Edwards of West Palm Beach, Florida; five grandchildren: Travious Lobe, Zaine Washington, Michael Wimberly, Say'vilona Lusane, and Ireona Smith; special friend, George Edwards; siblings: Andrew Washington, Christine McNair (Patrick), Cleo Lamar Washington (Freda), Janice Washington (Frank), David Washington, Lashase Levens, Deunade Barber (Ray), Hattie Edwards (Joe), Shirley Green (George), John L. Levens (Mary), John H. Levens (Glenda), Marilyn Levens, and Larry Levens; a loving aunt, Cleo Washington; a special cousin, Fannie Hall; a caregiver, Monica Gant; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
