Larry Bernard Fountain

Larry Bernard Fountain was born December 17, 1963, in Bainbridge, Georgia.  He was the son of the late Ceola Rivers Wimberly and the late Lonnie Fountain Sr.  He attended the public schools of Decatur County, graduating Bainbridge High School in 1983. Larry loved to have fun with family and friends. 

Larry departed his earthly life on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at his home in Bainbridge, Georgia.  He was preceded in death by his siblings Willie Wimberly, Doris Williams, Annie Ruth Montgomery, Charlie Fountain Sr., Marcus Fountain, Marcellus Rivers, Abraham Fountain, Lonnie Fountain Jr. And Willie Fountain.

He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter, Keonia Smith of Bainbridge, GA; one grandchild, Xilynn Smith of Bainbridge; six siblings: Sharon Wimberly (Lester), Delanda Jenkins, Dorothy Moten, William Fountain (Lisa), all of Bainbridge, Tammy Fountain of Climax, GA, and Leon Fountain (Maria) of El Paso, TX; a special niece, Shontel Wimberly of Bainbridge; a special cousin, Harvey Lee Breedlove Sr. of Bainbridge; a special goddaughter, Teagan Lewis of Bainbridge; his best friend, Ferris “Hobo” Lewis III (Tia) of Bainbridge; a loving and caring special friend, Annie Pearl Lewis (Ferris Sr.) of Bainbridge; and a host of nephews and additional nieces, cousins and friends.
