Marcus Terrell Blocker was born on December 14, 1984, in Bainbridge, Georgia, to Virginia Ann Blocker Brooks and James Edward Cooper. He graduated in the Class of 2003 from Eastman High School in Eastman, Georgia, earning a high school diploma; he later went on to receive his certificate for Forklift Trade to become a certified forklift driver. After graduation, he became employed with Pepsi, Inc. After years of service with Pepsi, he transferred to Coke Cola, Inc. and became a supervisor, where he performed his duties for eighteen-plus years with diligence and respect.

The party clown, Marcus lived his life to the fullest. To know him was to love him. His favorite television shows were NCIS, S.W.A.T and Law & Order, watching them until they began to watch him as he would often fall asleep.

Marcus Terrell Blocker departed his earthly life on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Bainbridge Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge, Georgia, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was preceded in death by his father James Edward Cooper, aunt Lorene Blocker and his brother-in-law Markeith Miller.

He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Arian Blocker and Leila Blocker; devoted friend, Demetria Johnson; mother, Virginia Ann Blocker Brooks (Michael); five sisters: Brianna Clark, Nene Cooper Miller, Shakita Webb, Felicity Cooper, and Johnnie Williams; four brothers: Zaedron Brooks, Chris Brooks, Javon Brooks, and Brandon Brooks; godsister, Iesha Smart; loving grandmother whom he loved very much, Remel Bennett (Lucious); three devoted aunts: Shonda Blocker, Mildred Cooper, and Martha Ann Cooper; three uncles: Nathaniel Blocker (Laountess), Eric Blocker, and Jerry Cooper; two great aunts, Ruby Thomas and Gladys Cook (Tim); great uncle, John Smart (Inez); four closest cousins: Victor Green, Lakessa Swatts Williams, James Swatts, and Semeka Robinson; three closest friends: Tyrecous King, Robert Howard, and Robert Fuller; very special friend, Japonica Powell; and a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
