Rebecca Sasser Jones

Rebecca Cornila Sasser Jones, affectionately known as “Becky”, was born November 30, 1970, in Stuart, Florida, to Virginia Ferguson and the late Michael Van Sasser. She lived most of her life in Bainbridge, Georgia, with her grandmother, the Late Rebecca Henry.

She attended the Decatur County Public School System and accepted CHRIST an early age. Becky was loved by her children, family and friends. She will always be remembered for her kindness and generosity.

Becky departed her earthly life on December 1, 2024, in Warner Robins, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her son Brandon Sasser, brother Ezekiel Peterson, and sisters Etha Curry and Patricia Johnson.

She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Deundra Harris (Raymond) of Warner Robins, GA; two sons, Jeremy Jones (Alisha) of Atlanta, GA, and Jerome Jones (Chantelle) Colquitt, GA; fourteen grandchildren: Damario, Brandon, Kalani, Kailey, Marquel, Caden, Jai’lee, Hailey, Ka’leb, Journee, Kyree, Jayceon, Cartier, and Jaxen; one brother, Michael Sasser Jr.; two sisters, Della (Joe) and Jacquelene (Jesse); two favorite aunts, Florrie Jackson and Pearl Bradley; special sisters: Felicia Williams-Webb, My Nita, and Schandler Gibson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
