RUBY L. MURRELL, born May 18, 1939, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2015. She was born in Tallahassee, Florida to the late Eliza Shuler and James Farmer. She was educated in the Leon County Public Schools. Ruby retired from the State of Florida. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 25 years, Alvern Murrell Sr.; one daughter, Constance McPherson (Mitchell); four stepchildren: Alvern Murrell Jr. (Vickie), Gerald Pride (Sharon), Anthony Murrell (Shonda), and Angela Williams (Freddie); two grandchildren, Briana McPherson and Brian McPherson; ten stepgrandchildren; four brothers: James Farmer (Diane), David Farmer, George Shuler, and Robert Shuler; three sisters: Delores Baldwin, Pearl Hudson, and Jeanette Dredd (Johnny); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Eddie Shuler and Joseph Shuler, and one brother-in-law, Willie James Baldwin.
