Tadarius Knight

Tadarius Da’Shawn Knight was born to the late Gary W. Knight Sr. and LaCara D. Henry on November 8, 1998, in Bainbridge, Georgia.  He confessed to CHRIST at an early age.  He was a member of Lamar Street Church of Christ before moving to South Florida to live with his father.

Tadarius attended the public schools of Decatur County and finished his high school years in Broward County, Florida, where he graduated Dillard High School.  He was an employee at Dollar Tree up until his departure on this side of life.

Tadarius departed his earthly life on March 26, 2023, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  He was preceded in death by his father Gary Williford Knight Sr., grandfathers George Knight and Curtis Nelson, and great grandmothers Ruby G. Parris and Zora Mae Henry.

Tadarius leaves to cherish his memories three loving mothers: LaCara Henry (Chris) of Bainbridge, GA, Michelle Scott of Donalsonville, GA, and Lawonda Knight of Jacksonville, FL; two grandmothers, Acenith Parris of Bainbridge, GA, and Mary Nelson of Albany, GA; a grandfather, Alfred Joe Henry of Bainbridge, GA; siblings:  Dorian Henry, JaCory Henry, Doriah Henry, all from Bainbridge, Angel Knight of Donalsonville, GA, Gary Knight Jr., Gavin Knight, Chrishanti Spruill, all of Jacksonville, FL, G’Nari Knight, and Kristina Spruill, both of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; three nieces:  Kailani, D’Myra, and A’Laja; three nephews:  Kayden, Carter and Khalil; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and friends.

Tadarius also had that ONE special friend with whom he could talk,  hang, cry and laugh.  They were an open diary to each other.  They had an unbreakable bond that no one could tear apart.  “Kee Kee, I know you’re going to miss him; and I don’t have to tell you how much he loved you, because that’s something you already knew.  Thank you so much for being that special friend; I love you dearly.” – LaCara
