Tony A. Reese

Tony Alexander Reese was born on February 2, 1971, in Miami, Florida, to Dorothy Reese Brown and Willie Sharp. He departed his earthly life on January 15, 2025, in Augusta, Georgia, being the eldest of five.

He received his education at West Dunbar Elementary, Dunbar Elementary, Robert E. Lee Jr. High, Hutto Jr. High and Bainbridge High School. He worked for many years cleaning pools and cooking until his health started to decline.

Tony was known as “The Life of the Party”. He will surely be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy, grandmothers Oppie Reese and Ethel Burns, and grandfathers George Reese and Toby Brown Jr.

Tony leaves precious memories to his father, Jessie Brown of Bainbridge, GA; three sisters: TaShika Williams (Bobby) Kizzie Brown, and Sylvania Brown, all of Bainbridge, GA; two brothers, Michael Reese and Norris Reese (Dianne), both of Bainbridge, GA; the love of his life, Blanchie Brooks of Bainbridge, GA; children: JaRod of Cairo, GA, Rashad (Rekeita), Amber, Sherrick, all of Bainbridge, GA, Ja’Quan of Atlanta, GA, Deirrious of Detroit, MI, Chantel (Shawn) of Valdosta, GA, and Jerrymiah of Hawaii; a special aunt/mother, Alma Brown of Bainbridge, GA; aunts: Gladys Bowden (Johnny), Joann Reese, and Ruthie Reese, all of Miami, FL; uncles, Ralph Resse of Miami, FL, and Leonard Reese of Bainbridge, GA; wife, Michelle Reese of Bainbridge, GA; godsister, Audrey Miller of Winter Garden, FL; godbrother, Maurice Rogers of Jacksonville, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends who will love and miss him dearly.
